Studio 66 Pilates Trainers

Meet all our wonderful trainers!

Kelly

Meet Kelly O’ Haney Blackburn, co-owner of Studio 66 Pilates. She was born and raised in Glendora, California. Kelly has spent the last 30 years teaching middle school students in the Azusa Unified School District. She has a BA in political science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a strong emphasis on physical education and an MA in education from Claremont Graduate University.

Living both in the world of education and sports, Kelly found it a natural transition to purchase and create a studio that consistently puts the client first, makes everyone feel welcome regardless of their level of fitness, and gives back to the community.

Kelly is a certified Pilates instructor. She gained her certification through the Sheppard Teacher Training Program after completing over 400 required hours. The program was based on the methods of exercise developed by Joseph Hubertus Pilates. Kelly is also a certified TRX instructor.

After years of playing soccer and other sports and competing in triathlons, 10Ks, and the LA marathon, Kelly found her body craving a more healing exercise regimen. When she was introduced to Pilates, she quickly realized the relief it brought her. This was the beginning of her Pilates journey. She can now be found combining her sports background with her Pilates training to enhance the lives of others and bring healing movement and ease to her clients of all walks of life.

The dragonfly, considered to be a spiritual creature that is connected to light and change, represents the adaptability and transformation you will see once you have become a member of our community. Our desire is that this symbol reminds our clients of these qualities in themselves. Perhaps you are in need of more lightness and joy in your life. Make change and transformation a part of your life as you join us at Studio 66 Pilates. We strive to create a place of harmony and balance in our studio, and our blue heart symbol is a reminder of that goal.

Brenda

Brenda Prokop, co-owner of Studio 66 Pilates, graduated with a BS in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science and dance from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Currently, she is working on another degree from the Laguna College of Art + Design in fine art with an emphasis on the human figure. From a young age, Brenda has always had a fascination with the potential and beauty of the human body on a physical and artistic level.

Brenda's love of Pilates began while studying dance when her ballet teacher first introduced her to the method. Afterward, Brenda continued her study of Pilates, receiving her first teacher training from the Ron Fletcher Studio and her second from Mt. San Antonio College.

Brenda's experience has overlapped into many areas of fitness, dance, education, and physical therapy. She has taught dance, dance exercise, weight and strength training, alignment/posture, yoga, and Pilates classes at studios, health clubs, college, and in the home. Currently, Brenda teaches group Pilates and yoga classes, trains clients on an individual basis, and researches women's weight loss resistance issues. An avid lifelong learner, Brenda loves and tries to keep up with all the wonderful developments in the fitness and health world! Believing that we all have a unique ability to change ourselves through healthier choices and lifestyles, Brenda is excited by the potential of transformation and hopes to inspire and help people in their journeys.

Adriann

Adriann was introduced to Pilates while in college. As a lover of all things movement, from dance and yoga, to strength training and running, Pilates was a perfect fit to her active lifestyle. She completed her Pilates teacher training through Polestar Pilates in 2018. She believes that Pilates brings balance and awareness to all other physical activities. When she is not teaching Pilates, you can find Adriann weight lifting at the gym, hiking, or spending time with her husband and cat.
